Tim “Livewire” Shieff has compiled a montage of what he thinks are his best moments from his time on the MTV show “Ultimate Parkour Challenge.” The show brought together some of the world’s most prolific freerunners and put them to the test in several themed challenges, all shot in California. DO IT! – The Parkour Challenge Series

Tunc Leech Uysaler and Florian Hatwagner have created a video series in which they are going to let their viewers choose various parkour challenges for them to complete. Hawaii Parkour Drill Series – Safety Traverse

Hawaii Parkour brings the parkour community another amazing training video, this time combining strength and balance. The movement, entitled “safety traverse,” is a derivative of the safety vault. According to the video description, this exercise trains: “Core, shoulder and leg conditioning. Strengthening of wrist and elbows. Coordination, weight distribution, balance, foot and hand placement. All of it in one go.” The traceuse in the video is Leanne Jenkins of the New Zealand Parkour Association. Check it out below!

Creative Jam – Poland’s First Freerunning Competition

On 11 and 12 of February, freerunners from all over Poland will come to Warsaw to take part in the first Polish freerunning competition of creativity in movement, which will take place on a special gym during the two-day Creative Jam.

On the first day, participants will have a unique chance to learn from and get inspired by two special guests, who will add splendour to the event. Pavel “Pasha” Petkuns from Latvia and Alexander “White” Zyulev from Russia will conduct two-hour workshops and will be there for everyone.

The second day will see Polish first freerunning competition. Contestants’ runs will be assessed by four judges in such areas as flow, style, creativity of movement, difficulty and safety. The obstacle course consisting of scaffoldings and special vault boxes will be designed so as to encourage freerunners to find in themselves as much creativity as possible.

The main organiser of Creative Jam is Parkour United Association. Detailed information can be found on official website of the event: www.creativejam.parkourunited.pl.

5 Gum has released a commercial featuring Daniel Ilabaca. The ad shows Danny with a bracelet that can control his environment in any way he pleases. The world of this commercial would be the greatest parkour gym of all time. Jon Favreau (director of Iron Man) also worked on the commercial. Check out the video below!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Meets Parkour

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been part of modern pop culture for decades and it has continued with that trend by introducing parkour into its repertoire. In the latest issue of the recently relaunched TMNT comic book series, writers Tom Waltz, Kevin Eastman, and Dan Duncan have the amphibious fighting squad experience a chance encounter with a French, freerunning vigilante.
