Tim “Livewire” Shieff has compiled a montage of what he thinks are his best moments from his time on the MTV show “Ultimate Parkour Challenge.” The show brought together some of the world’s most prolific freerunners and put them to the test in several themed challenges, all shot in California. When the Tempest Freerunning Academy opened it’s doors the internet exploded with excitement and their introductory video has over 4 million views. On the cusp of the one year anniversary of that video, Tempest have released another showcasing their latest addition to the gym – Kaleido Land. Tunc Leech Uysaler and Florian Hatwagner have created a video series in which they are going to let their viewers choose various parkour challenges for them to complete. The first video of the series, “Slip’n Slide,” shows Florian combining parkour, skating, and snowboarding – all without skates or a board. Check it out below and keep checking back for more!
5 Gum has released a commercial featuring Daniel Ilabaca. The ad shows Danny with a bracelet that can control his environment in any way he pleases. The world of this commercial would be the greatest parkour gym of all time. Jon Favreau (director of Iron Man) also worked on the commercial. Check out the video below!

Last year, a group of freerunning friends came together in Chicago and began calling themselves the Wolf Pack. A year later, their skills have grown and their friendship has remained intact. The group consists of Ryan Thill, Cody Beltramo, Grant Lechner, Dan Lescher, Jeff Strening. Ryan and Grant’s backgrounds include film editing and graphic design (respectively), while Cody is a member of Team Sanjuu and Jeff is a physical trainer that co-owns a fitness website called ZombieFit. The Parkour Tour last year featured a 3 week, 4,000 mile, 8 country trip around Europe. Now they’re back, but they need your help! The goal of the Parkour Tour is to make videos showcasing different parkour communities throughout the world. An IndieGoGo page has been set up that explains what kind of support the tour needs, as well as what can be given in return (DVDs, exclusive t-shirts, A4 photo prints, canvases and even the chance for them to visit your city). APEX Movement and Movemental Apparel went on a tour of the western United States to “attend gatherings, run workshops, and document the parkour lifestyle.” A video has just been released on Ryan Ford’s “DemonDrills” YouTube channel of their stop in Las Vegas. The video documents several members of Las Vegas Parkour whose lives have been completely altered through parkour, one even going so far as to say that parkour is their “sun.” Check out the video below!
